The South Carolina Chapter of PRSA is pleased to host the 2015 Southeast District Conference June 3-5 in Greenville, S.C. The conference, entitled “Find Your Story,” will explore the many facets of storytelling inside a defined set of topic areas including effective content strategies, new rules of media relations, corporate storytelling, hybrid public relations, social media, crisis communications, blogger outreach, influencing the C-suite and more.
We have many great speakers from a number of well-known organizations lined up, including those from Michelin North America, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Clemson University’s Social Media Listening Center, Bank of America and BMW North America. Documentary filmmaker, Poppy Dixon, who has developed and produced documentaries for the BBC, National Geographic, MTV and Discovery, will be on hand to close out the conference with an engaging talk on how to find and bring stories to life inside and outside of your organization.
In addition to learning new tools and techniques, attendees will have an opportunity to network with one another at two evening events in beautiful downtown Greenville. Plus, those interested in pursuing their APR (Accreditation in Public Relations) or learning more about it can attend an APR Café on Thursday morning.
